Terms of Service
LOD 200, higher LOD upon request, and will require re-quote.
Included: floors, walls, ceilings, windows, doors, beams, columns, roof, skylights.
Excluded: Site plan, MEP services below 4”, fire sprinklers, cameras, furniture, casework.
Modeling tolerance: typically +/- 1”.
Software: Revit 2019, earlier versions may be available upon request.
Inputs: all necessary documents and files such registered scan files, 360 photography.
Outputs: 3D model in Autodesk Revit 2019
Timeframe: Most projects less than 10,000 square feet are delivered in approximately 7-10 business days, following completion of all site work. Larger projects may require additional delivery time, most are delivered in fewer than 10 business days.
Access to web viewers: any project delivered via web viewer (Scanforce Dashboard) will be available for a period of 90 days, after which a download can be made available upon request. If Client would like to maintain access to their Dashboard beyond 90 days, fees will apply at the then prevailing monthly rate.
Quotes are based on estimated square footage, if actual square footage exceeds the estimate by greater than 10%, additional costs may be added to the final invoice.
This quote is based on provided details. Any changes in scope may affect the quote, and Scanforce reserves the right to re-quote as needed prior to project commencement. Any changes to quote will require acceptance by Client prior to commencement of work.
Scanforce asks that client accept this quote within three (3) business days of receipt.
Overdue accounts are subject to 1% interest charge per month.Termination. Both the parties shall be entitled to terminate this Agreement by giving seven days written notice. Scanforce agrees to complete all work in progress up to the date of termination, and Client agrees to pay for all services delivered up to the date of termination.
Confidentiality. During the term of this Agreement, each party will regard any information provided to it by the other party and designated in writing as proprietary or confidential to be confidential (“Confidential Information”). Confidential Information shall also include information which, to a reasonable person familiar with the disclosing party’s business and the industry in which it operates, is of a confidential or proprietary nature. A party will not disclose the other party’s Confidential Information to any third party without the prior written consent of the other party, nor make use of any of the other party’s Confidential Information except in its performance under this Agreement. Each party accepts responsibility for the actions of its agents or employees and shall protect the other party’s Confidential Information in the same manner as it protects its own valuable confidential information, but in no event shall less than reasonable care be used. A receiving party shall promptly notify the disclosing party upon becoming aware of a breach or threatened breach hereunder, and shall cooperate with any reasonable request of the disclosing party in enforcing its rights.
Liability. Except as may arise out of Scanforce’s breach of its confidentiality obligations the total liability of Scanforce to Customer for any and all claims and damages under this Agreement will not exceed the amounts paid by (and not otherwise refunded to) Client to Scanforce under the applicable Service Agreement for the Services which form the subject of the claim. The provisions of this Agreement allocate risks between the parties. The pricing set forth in each Service Agreement reflects this allocation of risk and the limitation of liability specified herein.
Sub-contractors. Scanforce, at its own discretion, responsibility and cost may employ the services of competent sub-contractors or outsourced services vendors during the execution of the project. Such sub-contractors or vendors will be hired by Scanforce after thorough due diligence and competency assessment of such parties. Scanforce undertakes complete delivery assurance of project deliverables from such sub-contractors or vendors as per per-agreed mutual terms of delivery and deliverables. Scanforce further undertakes that its sub-contractors and outsourced services vendors will fully comply with the non-disclosures and confidentiality terms agreed upon in this Contract.
Acceptance of all deliverables. Client is responsible to review all deliverables within 15 days of receipt. After said time, the deliverables are deemed to be approved and accepted by Client. Additional work requested by the Client after Acceptance will be quoted and billed separately.
Adjustments to quote. All scanning planning, coordination, and execution is to be determined upon first onsite review. Time to complete scanning process will be subject to onsite conditions. Any obstructions, onsite conditions, and access restrictions outside of Scanforce control may, and or will, delay scanning process, and will be billed as additional time at a rate of $150.00 per hour.
Level of development (or level of detail) of the model we create from the laser scan shall be appropriate for spatial design planning and coordination to the extent possible from the scan data. The thickness of walls and floors will be generic if both sides are not captured in the scans.
All critical dimensions should be confirmed on site prior to construction.
Both parties agree that they have read and understood these terms and have agreed to abide by them.
