Floor plans show a view from above of the relationships between rooms, walls hallways, seating arrangement and significant MEP systems. Dimensions are drawn between the walls to specify room sizes. Floor plans may also include details of fixtures like sinks, water heaters, furnaces, depending on your specific needs. Floor plans may also include notes specifying finishes.
Elevations are also available upon request - an elevation is a measured plane projected from the side of a building, along with its height.
File type: Revit, Sketchup, AutoCAD, or PDF
BIM is an acronym for Building Information Modelling. It describes the process of using software to model in 3D the physical shape of the building creating a "digital twin". From the BIM model, any drawing/view can be created.
File types: Revit, and DWG.
360° Photo Walkthroughs
Scanforce projects can include a 3D photo walk-through which enables the viewer to virtually tour a property. The user can walk from room to room, look up and down, and spin the view 360 degrees, all from your device. It's perfect for documenting construction, planning and communicating with project partners, marketing, or as a vital resource for insurance purposes.
A point cloud is a set of data points in space. Point clouds are produced by 3D scanners, which measure a large number of points on the external surfaces of objects around them. As the output of the 3D scanning processes, point clouds are used to create 3D BIM models for construction, renovation, and confirmation of built environments. Most clients do not need the point cloud data, only the result - the 3D BIM model, or floor plans. However, we’re glad to deliver the raw point cloud data for firms that prefer to do their own conversion.
